I know I'm gonna forget to upload this later, so here it is now. xD
This is the original image from Round 4, done back in December. I've been meaning to upload it by its lonesome (as opposed to incorporated into the background) for a while now, but I keep forgetting.
Anyway, 'twas an assignment that I was able to interpret so I could use it in LoT too. About eight hours in the lab wif the cintiq back in the beginning of December, and another couple hours relentlessly whoring filters to build a lot of the gear stuff. As always, there's stuff I'd change or tidy up, but I lost the version of this with the layers intact, so alas.
Anyone not familiar with Law of Talos, it's set in a steampunk environment. This was my take on a cathedral interior in a society with a prevalent machinery/clockwork aesthetic. Gods, machines, etc.
Beautiful, the lighting of the entire image is gorgeous. I see some places that simply seem less defined than others, or potentially even unfinished looking in comparison. But as a whole, the entire piece is lovely, and all those details are practically insane.
When I had seen a piece of this in your previous comic, it caught my eye. I was wondering if it was just a particularly awesome looking panel, or if it was part of a more complete piece. Looks like this would be my answer

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
